How to reach us

By Train

By train

The train is the fastest and more economic way to reach us, Corniglia is served by local trains linked to La Spezia Centrale and Levanto station, with only 15 minutes of travel. These two main stations are served by Intercity trains, connecting to all of Italy.

To reach the center village, from the railway station, you can use:

- the panoramic stairway called "Lardarina" with 380 steps, after a little path;

- the National Park shuttle bus, included in the Cinque Terre Card or you can buy the ticket on board. The departures of the bus are coinciding with the train arrival. It is possible to see the timetable in the  railway station, where there is a Visitor centre of the National Park for any information.

By Car

By Car

We do not advice to use the car to reach us, due to the particolare landscape with no room to park. We suggest to get to the closest and bigger parking area in La Spezia or Levanto railway station. There is a  ( narrow) parking out of Corniglia, we remind that is not possible to enter the villages by car, the access is only fo the residents.

From Genoa: A-12 Highway (Autostrada) exit Corrodano - Levanto, follow directions to Monterosso and then to Corniglia. We recomend to enquire about the practicability of this road !

From Florence: A-11 Highway (Autostrada) to Pisa, go on to La Spezia, exit La Spezia - Santo Stefano di Magra. Pass through La Spezia city and follow then directions Cinque Terre ( brown signs ), continue on Litoranea road. It takes around 50 minutes to reach Corniglia, from the highway exit.
